Movies Under the Stars - Avatar Tonight
The City of Hoboken's Movies Under the Stars is presenting the blockbuster hit Avatar by James Cameron tonight at Pier A Park. The movie which features a fictitious world of Pandora may have some Hoboken viewers wishing that Hoboken was a little more like that world given our infrastuture and political issues. Keep in mind that the natives on that planet don't have AC which actually happens to residents in Hoboken every once in a while when a transformer blows and the power goes out due to overdevelopment.
