Jingle Bells – Mayor Roberts Style

It is the holiday season so why not honour the Mayor with a little jingle to lighten up Holiday spirits.

Verse 1:
Roberts spewing snow,
In a one-paper town slanted his way,
O'er the threshold we go,
Spending happily and gay,
Taxes up and it’s discouraging,
Making Hoboken feel much blight,
Now Judy Tripodi has come in
And will hopefully make it alright.

Chorus:
Oh Jingle bells, Roberts smells,
Is our Mayor Gay?,
Oh! what joy it is to tax and spend
With patronage gone astray.
Jingle bells, Roberts smells,
Davey likes pay to play;
Oh! what joy it is to tax and spend
And give it all away.

Verse 2:
This last summer ago,
Davey went to Mantoloking to take a ride,
And soon that Captain “Stick”
Was driving by his side,
The limo was long and stank;
Overspending seemed his lot,
He ran out of money in the bank,
And then by the Council he got up sot.

Chorus

Verse 3:
Some Civil servants don’t show for work,
The story I must tell,
They take advantage of a feckless jerk,
And dry up the tax payer well;
The spending and waste oh my oh my,
The coverups for years lead to this doomsday,
His administration is one big lie,
Vote the bum out and drive him the f$ck away.
