Alt Preussen Principen - Hoboken German Heritage Week Continues

  1. Compassion is not a substitute for reason.

  2. Good deeds resulting from a kind heart usually backfire.

  3. Only dead men and losers fight fair.

  4. Pain builds character.

  5. Strike first never strike back.

  6. Never strike out in anger, do it on purpose.

  7. Pick your fights not your nose.

  8. If you can't win run. If you can't run hide. If you can't hide use a brick.

  9. You don't have to be a candy ass to be liberal.

  10. You don't have to be a bully to be tough.

  11. Don't get even, get ahead.

  12. Never let compassion interfere with reason.

  13. Winners write history, losers are blamed for it.

  14. Fight fire with a flame thrower.

  15. Never speak softly when you can shout.

  16. Never shout unless you can back it up.

  17. Big guns are better than little ones.

  18. Everyone is an enemy and everyone has enemies.

  19. Always take advantage when you can.

  20. Never forgive and always remember.

  21. Understanding does not imply approval.

  22. Accept help from any source.

  23. Tanks are better than horses.

  24. Truth depends on your perspective.

  25. No one has a corner on the market of truth.

  26. Don't trust anyone but a Hoenzolleren.

  27. Mumble. Then you can claim you were misunderstood.

  48. Fear most the ignorant, they have the ability to know better but don't.

  49. Those not blinded to truth will agree with you.

  50. Avoid the vagaries of chance, plan for the worst.
