Dear Friends,

Happy New Year!

Please Help Kick off the 2009 New Year and a Better Future for Hoboken:
Save the Date: Party and Fundraiser with Dawn
Thursday, January 29th (More details to follow soon).

I hope everyone is enjoying a very relaxing and fun holiday season. With the New Year here, I want to let each of you know that I strongly believe Hoboken can make the critical changes that are so long overdue, while still maintaining the character of the City that we all love. Yes, together we can do it. We can lower our taxes, reduce waste, and eliminate our shadow government. Our town, too often a laughing stock over the past two years, can become a model for others, with balanced development, new parks and the quality of life that all of us deserve.

Judy Tripodi, our State fiscal monitor, is building the blocks for change. She's getting us started, and creating the conditions that we need to move forward. But it will be up to us, the citizens of Hoboken, to finish the job that has finally begun.

I hope you are all having a great New Year, and please come on January 29th to hear how we can join together to seize this moment for positive change in our town. Thanks.

Dawn
