I received a call from a pollster this Sunday on my cell phone regarding the upcoming Hoboken elections and it started out with some basic questions:
- If the election were held today who would you support for Mayor?
Beth Mason, Peter Cammarano, Dawn Zimmer, Frank Orsini, Ryn Melberg or Tom Vincent were the choices.
- If you knew the HCDO was backing Dawn Zimmer would that that make you more likely, less likely to vote for her or have no effect?
There were other basic questions but the ones were telling were the ones focused on Beth Mason. The question that was asked over and over again was:
If the following people supported Beth Mason for Mayor would that make you more likely, less likely to vote for her or have no effect?
These were the people I remember:
Frank Raia
Mike Russo
Ruben Ramos
Theresa Castelano
Is the Beth Mason campaign concerned that certain endorsements could do more harm than good in the upcoming election? I think that is a fair question given the content of the poll. Or is it from some other organization?
Reader Question: Did anyone else get this poll over the weekend and participate? Comment below if you have anything to add.
