- 6:00 PM - Emergency City Council Meeting at City Hall to discuss the year 2009 budget.
- 7:00PM - As previously posted, Peter Cammarano to host his fundraiser at Odd Fellows with a special guest from the Kennedy family.
My Commentary: Some might ask me why do I cover what some people consider to be fringe candidates? The answer is simple in that given the current situation with the Hoboken budget and it's general operations we need the widest range of candidates to choose from to see who is best to lead Hoboken forward. A recent poll reported on NJ.com had Beth Mason in the lead despite not formally declaring her candidacy yet. However, over half of the voters remain undecided. For this reason the possibility exists that an outsider has at least some chance of an upset win no matter what political cynics and machine politicians might say.
