Tuesday May 19th Last day to Register in the Runoff Election

Here is a message from City Council Candidate on the last day to register to vote in the runoff election which is tomorrow, May 19th:

Tell Your Friends and Neighbors: Tuesday May 19

is the Last Day To Register to Vote

Victory and real change is within our grasp, but we need your help!

The June 9th run-off election promises to be a highly competitive race. We need to expand our growing base and reach out to new voters who did not vote in the May 12th election. With every new registered voter and every new supporter, we will come that much closer to victory on Election Day.

Tomorrow, May 19th, is the last day to register to vote in the June 9th run-off election. If you are already registered and/or have voted in the past, there is no need to re-submit a registration form. However, if you have never registered to vote, you must submit a one-page voter registration form by May 19th at 4 pm..

Here is my request to you: if you are already registered, please find at least one friend or neighbor in your building or on your block and ask them to register by tomorrow. If you are not registered, this is your chance to register and help make real change here in Hoboken on June 9th.

It's very easy to register to vote in two simple steps:

First, click here to print and fill out the voter registration form.

Second, either (a) mail the form so that it is postmarked on Tuesday, May 19th; or (b) give the form to any Zimmer volunteer wearing a green t-shirt at the PATH station tomorrow morning; or (c) drop the form at our headquarters, 618 Washington Street, by 2 pm on Tuesday, May 19th. Past elections in Hoboken have been won or lost by only a handful of votes, so please remember that your vote is valuable and can make a real difference in this election.

Thank you,
Ravi S. Bhalla
Candidate, Hoboken City Council
