In the Republican Primary held yesterday with 97 percent of precincts reporting, Mr. Christie led Mr. Lonegan 55 percent to 42 percent. Assemblyman Rick Merkt drew 3 percent, according to The Associated Press.

Jon Corzine also won his Democratic primary against three lesser known candidates. 911 conspiracist Jeff Boss even got over 100 votes in Hoboken alone but it wasn;t enough to topple the front runner Jon Corzine.
