Senate Judiciary Chairman Paul "NJ Transit" Sarlo: "That's Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit."

Here is a gem on YouTube posted by http://www.politickernj.com/

Edited excerpt from Wally Edge:

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Paul Sarlo (D), not exactly the most articulate man in the Senate, seemed a bid out of control last week when the nomination of Nicholas Fargo to the Hudson County Board of Taxation failed to get through his committee. Fargo already has three government jobs (even one more than Ruben Ramos once held). He's the Business Administrator at Hudson County Schools of Technology, the Chief Financial Officer for the Borough of Wood-Ridge (where Sarlo is Mayor), and the Wood-Ridge school treasurer- which puts him in at least two state pension funds. State Sen. Bill Baroni (R) objected to Fargo receiving a fourth job, and the Judiciary Committee, controlled by Democrats didn't release his nomination. That caused Sarlo to lose it: "That's bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit," Sarlo said, perhaps not realizing that his microphone was still on. Suddenly the Office of Legislative Service cut the audio.

My note: For those who might not be aware, Senator Paul Sarlo is the chief sponsor of the infamous NJ State Senate Bill S2972.  Key components of this bill as I understand them would take away local autonomy of City Councils accross the State of NJ as the redevelopment authority for their municipality. This would open the floodgates for overdevelopment of the NJ Transit area since the City Hoboken would have little say once this legislation is enacted.

Here is a link to the proposed bill introduced June 22, 2009:

Paul Sarlo currently also holds multiple government jobs. Go figure. ◦
