This letter is comical in retrospect given what David Roberts wants his legacy to be rather than what it will be.
The best quote is "as we continue into this year, you will see that taxes have stabilized due to forward planning and due diligence". Just yesterday an unnamed Roberts supporter on NJ.com's Hoboken Now accused the Zimmer Administration of trying to re-write history. Nice try by David Roberts but the problems with the sale of the Municipal Garage and finding its new location reveal his planning wasn't that forward and that his budgetary schemes were a house of cards that fell in when he couldn't get a council majority to back him. Adding revisionism to incompetency isn't going to help his legacy one iota.
