Hoboken Secret Garden Tour Part 4 - Hoboken Journal Photo Exclusive

The Hoboken Secret Garden Tour Part 4 continues with a Park Avenue backyard that includes a refined patio for eating and entertaining and a basketball court for the kids in the back.

The Basketball hoop seemed to installed at regulation height of ten feet off the ground. In case you were wondering, no I didn't try to dunk but I did at least think about it. :)

The court surface is made of blue stone and the bamboo in the back when fully grown is hoped to serve as a backstop for wayward balls. Ed Collier of Added Results Landscape Architecture and Design (NYC) was the designer of this dual-purpose backyard.

Small pots mounted on the fence contain herbs and strawberries.

The patio has planting beds for both decorative plants and blueberry bushes. ◦
