City and Police Layoffs Approved by Civil Service Commission

Here is the latest release from City Hall. The layoff plan proposed by Mayor Zimmer has been approved by the State Civil Service Commission.....

CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION APPROVES HOBOKEN LAYOFF PLAN


The City of Hoboken today received a letter from Kenneth Connolly, Director of the Division of State and Local Operations at the New Jersey Civil Service Commission, stating that the layoff plan submitted by the City has been approved.

The City will begin implementing the plan and notifying affected employees. ◦
