Thought for The Day - Athenian Pledge
A Hoboken Journal reader sent this in today for consideration. This is a quote from the Athenians and their pledge towards civic service. It seems apropriate given the fact that certain battle lines have been drawn in inappropriate ways recently on certain key local governance issues in my humble opinion. Perhaps a little historical lookback is a helpful to get insight on the importance of ideals as a guide.
