What: A Hoboken Howl-O-Ween Party
When: Saturday, October 30th, 2–4p.m. (rain date, Nov. 6, same time & place)
Where: Church Square Park
Who: Any well-behaved dogs and their owners in the Hoboken area. Costumes encouraged, but optional.
Why: Pet Food & Supply Drive for the Liberty Humane Society, Jersey City, NJ
Details: The event will include a parade, costumes, prizes, competitions for awards, and goody bags for participants. Admission is FREE, though participants are asked to donate unopened, canned or dry food for dogs or cats.
The following supplies are also urgently needed: Kitty litter, towels, blankets and bathing supplies; household cleaners, including detergents and bleach; latex medical gloves and veterinary equipment. Gift cards to home improvement stores are also welcome. All items will be donated to Liberty Humane Society, Jersey City, NJ.
