HUMC WebSite Update

I noticed that the HUMC minutes on their website were not updated so I sent an email yesterday and got back a response today. I have to give the webmaster much credit for getting back to me so quickly.

Thank you for pointing out the lack of minutes. They will be updated shortly. While the site is being updated, the attached copies of minutes are available for public distribution. Please note that there was no meeting in the month of August 2008. Also, due to the holidays and schedule conflicts, the November & December meetings were combined into one meeting held on December 2, 2008. The minutes from December 2, 2008 will be presented to the Board for approval on January 28, 2009. Until that time they are not available.

I have put the minutes online in the meantime:

HUMC Minutes July 2008
HUMC Minutes September 2008
HUMC Minutes October 2008

Subject: Request for updates on the Web Site

Hello- My name is Kurt Gardiner and I am a resident of Hoboken. I was trying to get the minutes of the Hoboken Municipal Hospital Authority and I noticed that there are no more updates beyond June of 2008. I would find it useful if you could post the rest of the agenda minutes and financials for the monthly meetings through 2008. As a taxpaying resident, I want to stay informed as to the developments of the newly re-organized Hoboken University Medical Center. I have had friends of mine receive excellent care and wish your organization well but I want to know the state of the Financials in these tough economic times. I can't always make meeting so these postings are vital for me to stay informed.
Thanks in advance.

Kurt Gardiner
Hoboken Resident
