Food for thought - Another Broken Campaign Promise


Much has been made in the recent blogs attacking Dawn Zimmer for the lack of the release of the budget but this campaign promise broken by Beth Mason has gone unreported for the most part.


For those of you who might not remember, Beth ran on a promise of not taking a council salary in the 2007 election, and then voila!:


Beth Mason: I'll take that Council salary after all, thank you

"Yes, after remindinding everyone often that she doesn't take her City Council salary, Beth Mason is now asking the City to give her her Council salary going back to January and to give her health benefits moving forward".
