Reader Mail on Deceptive Campaigning

An anonymous reader had these thoughts on a recent Beth Mason Campaign tactic that he/she wanted to share with readers:

When I first saw Beth starting to circulate these ads last week attaching herself to Corzine, I just kind of groaned and thought, "another opportunistic Mason move." But seriously, should it not be exposed how shamelessly deceptive it is to promote the appearance that just because she's endorsed him that that means he, in turn, has endorsed her (when it's actually the case that he is not much of a fan)?

Seriously - she will probably get a bunch of Democratic votes this way from people coming out for Corzine who don't know what's what locally but are deceived into thinking they're a ticket. Pretty sleazy and shameless if you ask me.

My Comment: Feel free to share you thoughts on this below. Honestly, this tactic doesn't surprise me one iota. The "paid for" language is there but I for one, am not aware of Jon Corzine endorsing any Hoboken candidate.
