United Water construction crews are continuing their efforts to repair a 12-inch water main in Hoboken on 7th Street between Grand Street & Clinton Street. The main broke at about 3 AM today.

Crews have been working since early morning. The site has been excavated and United Water will replace the broken section of pipe this evening.

All customers have had water throughout the day. The water is safe to drink and meets all drinking water standards. There is no need to boil the water.

United Water has been working with the Hoboken Office of Emergency Management and the Mayor's Office to ensure that the repairs proceed as smoothly as possible.
