Hoboken City Council Meeting Tonight 12/1/2010 at 7pm

There is a Hoboken City Council Meeting Tonight 12/1/2010 at 7pm. Two resolutions,  one for Corner Cars and the other to acknowledge NJ Attorney General Allegations of Election Fraud will be the anticipated hot topics as well as Tim Occhipinti's attempted repeal of having people who can afford to do so, no longer pay for rec fees that the City provides services for.

Key Resolutions:

1. Resolution to extend the rules and regulations of “Hoboken Corner Cars” for an additional ninety (90) day period, and to reestablish specific parking spaces on a a pilot basis (submitted by Administration)
2.* Resolution supporting the review by the New Jersey Attorney General of allegations of election fraud during recent elections within the City of Hoboken (sponsored by Councilman Bhalla)
3.* Resolution to amend the resolution of September 15, 2010 awarding a contract for the FY 2010 NJDOT Trust Fund Resurfacing of various streets as specified in Bid Number 10-23 (submitted by Environmental Srvs. Department)

Key Ordinances (First Reading):

1.An ordinance to establish specific parking spaces and related rules for “Hoboken Corner Cars”.
2. An ordinance to repeal ordinance Z-41 which established registration fees for recreation programs under chapter 39 of the administrative code of the city of hoboken (sponsored by councilman Occhipinti).
