Mark Toback's contract was approved tonight at the Hoboken BOE by the vote of 9-0. There were some negative statements about the process by Maureen Sullivan about the transparency about the process but more on that later. Overall this was a great night for the board as well as the students of Hoboken.
Walter Rusak was voted in as interim superintendent to cover the gap through the end of February. The vote was also 9-0 in favor.
Several citizens including Theresa Burns who has on occasion criticized Kids First congratulated the board for their selection. More on the meeting tomorrow.
