Hoboken Ward Council Candidates' Forums Tonight and Tomorrow

Tonight and tomorrow, Hoboken voters will have the opportunity to pose questions and hear directly from the candidates vying for the six City Council ward seats in the upcoming and very important May 10 local election. Two moderated forums will be conducted by the Hoboken Quality of Life Coalition and People for Open Government, and hosted by The Parish of Our Lady of Grace and St. Joseph.

Tonight’s forum will feature candidates from the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th Ward. Tomorrow’s forum will feature candidates from the 2nd and 5th Ward.


Candidates on Tuesday:

First Ward: Theresa Castellano, Eric Kurta
Third Ward: Michael Russo, Greg Lincoln
Fourth Ward: Tim Occhipinti, Rami Pinchevsky
Sixth Ward: Nino Giacchi, Jennifer Giattino
Candidates on Wednesday:
Second Ward: Franz Paetzold, Tom Greaney, Patricia Waiters, Beth Mason

Fifth Ward: Leonard Luizzi, Peter Belfiore, Peter Cunningham, Scott DeLea

The forum will be moderated by Bob Bowdon – Experienced television news anchor, reporter, and indie film maker.
