Pier C Park: Caution Slide Surface Can be Hot! You Could Fry Bacon on it!
Caution signs were installed recently at Pier C Park to warn would be sliders that the surface of the slide can be very hot on a sunny day. The city has ordered a canopy to eventually cover the slide with shade but in the meantime the warning will have to do. One Hoboken City Council person, Tim Occhipinti even made the claim that the slide got so hot "You could fry bacon and eggs on it". Maybe a cooking show is in order. In the meantime, parents should encourage their kids to exercise caution.
