On Sunday, May 17, 2009, the Hoboken Harriers Running Club and All Saints Community Development Corporation will hold the eleventh annual HOHA Classic 5-Mile Race, starting at 10 a.m. at Pier A Park, one block north of the PATH station. A shorter, 1-mile Fun Run for children will be held at 9:30 a.m.
Proceeds from the race, which winds along the Hoboken waterfront and through the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology, will benefit the Jubilee Family Life Center, a non-denominational community center in Hoboken that provides after school youth programs for Hoboken’s needy.
For the 5 Mile Race, advance registration is $18, and race day registration is $20; the fun run is $5. Registration closes 15 minutes before each race. Advance registration is available on the Internet, at http://www.hoha.net/, until May 14th, or through the mail until May 9th. Applications can be obtained at Fleet Feet running store, located at 604 Washington Street in Hoboken, or by printing it off the HOHA web site page http://www.hoha.net/, or by calling our hot-line to request that one be mailed to you (201.792.3563).
T-shirts will be provided to runners while supplies last. Pre- registered runners are guaranteed shirts. In the 5 mile run, awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in 10-year age groups. For more information, or to request an application, contact us at http://www.hoha.net/.
