St. Ann's Series presents: Jennifer Lampert
featuring Julio Fernandez & Jeremy Bacon!
That's right everyone! It's my turn to give a concert as part of the St. Ann's series. I am so lucky to have so many incredibly talented musicians in my life! Come hear me play with Julio Fernandez and Jeremy Bacon.The concert will feature music to help lift you up! Times are tough for everyone so I decided to choose a selection of tunes to chase the clouds away! I know you have a tune that lifts you up no matter how down you are. Well, I decided to do a concert of my favorite lift me up tunes! I know that may sound silly but I just couldn't sing and sad tunes right now! You will know quite a few of them....Beatles, Johnny Nash, James Tayor, Seal, Abbey Lincoln.....come see if you can guess which tune I'm talking about.
This concert will feature guitarist Julio Fernandez! Most of you know Julio already but for those of you don't, he is the guitarist for Grammy Nominated jazz group Spyro Gyra. However, Spyro is just the tip of who he is musically. Julio has recorded on countless albums. Most recently, he recorded on former Yankee Bernie Williams' new album. Julio was born in Cuba and bred in Hoboken. He is definitely one of Hoboken's finest! I have been so blessed to have him as a friend and have been looking forward to playing together for a long time!
The St. Ann's series was started to celebrate the incredible acoustics of St. Ann's as well as the beautiful Yamaha C6 7FT concert grand piano paid for by 88 parishioners of St. Ann's who sponsored the 88 keys on the piano. This concert the piano will be graced by Jeremy Bacon! Jeremy Bacon is an extremely creative and dynamic pianist who has toured the world sharing his incredible sounds! If you have ever had brunch at The Madison right here in Hoboken you may have heard Jeremy!

$10 suggested donation includes Meet the Artist Wine and Cheese reception afterwards. If you can't swing the $10 it's Ok...Just tell them you are my guest at the door. I really want you to come out and hear some music.
