* Snarky editorial comment based on no audits (either fire or police) delivered after more than a year on the job by the State Fiscal Monitor Judy Tripodi. For that matter no City Departmental audit either. The current Administration can not begin to talk about serious potential cuts without these audits in a meaningful way without the proper done independent analysis first. It is not fair to either the public safety workers or to the taxpaying public.Meaningful discussions based on facts and professional and independent analysis can't go on without the completion of these audits.
With the State Monitor in control until she leaves, the buck stops with her or should I say the bucks go to the Fire and Police unions.
