Technical note to users who may have experienced slower load times on this site, especially from work. I have eliminated a bunch of unnecessary RSS feeds that I had on the bottom of my site and did not pertain to hyper local events. I also reduced the number of posts on the main page as well as some additional side bar items. The RSS feeds were making the homepage load slower so hopefully this fixes the issue for now.
