Here is the latest flier from Beth Mason. She must have a new round of consultants she is listening to as her new strategy is to be mostly be with the Mayor. This message is clearly based on trying recreate a new reality because until Beth Mason correctly voted for the Parks Bonding Ordinance last meeting she had essentially opposed the Mayor every step of the way since paying for Tim Occhipinti's victory and hence buying her City Council President's seat. This is a flier designed to take advantage of the low information voter, something Peter Cammarano did when he beat Mayor Zimmer in the June 2009 Mayoral runoff by 161 votes.
Will this tactic work an history repeat itself or will Tom Greaney get his name out there and remind the voters of the real Beth Mason? There is concern and it is palpable. And Franz is still getting his petitions.
One more point: Beth Mason proves once again despite her claim to ortune 500 experience she can't read a financial statement. The surplus is $14.7 million and the Mayor's new budget bings it down to 5% of the budget, the lowest amount generally accepted for a good bond rating,
