MAYOR ZIMMER PROVIDES UPDATES ON VARIOUS ISSUES

In a memo to the City Council, Mayor Dawn Zimmer provides an update on a variety of important topics including the City’s surplus, multi-meters, the Police Department, online services for residents, health violations, the audit of the Fire Department, the waterfront, NJ Transit, the arts in Hoboken, single stream recycling, PSE&G light poles, paving and pot holes, and more.

I hope that Beth Mason reads the part of retaining 5% of the surplus and stops lying about the true size of the surplus. She keeps repeating the $25 million lie. We have a true cash surplus of $14.7 million, of which $10 million is prudently reserved.

I expect her to not only continue to lie about the surplus, but also start talking about unicorn farms and global warming in a vain attempt to change the topic away from Mike Russo.
