Party with Purpose 5K Race Recap

Yesterday, Party with Purpose had its 7th Annual 5K Race in the searing Summer heat. Richie Yeates of Hoboken finished first with a stellar time of 14:56.13 and was more than 30 seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher overall. Coming in first place for the women was Jennifer Blank of Hoboken with a time of 19:04.91. There was an after party at Sinatra Park.

Despite the heat, the turnout for this event was very likely a record. Check out the video below from the start. The runner keep coming and coming. As of the morning of July 12, 1400 people were registered to run but many registered that day. Batman, Robin and the Flash also made an appearance and seem to be quite the tight knit crime fighting trio.
