Board of Education Race - Buttons Compared
Here is a photo of the two BOE Slate's buttons. On the left is Kids First with Theresa Minutillo, Maureen Sullivan, and Ruth McCallister in positions 1-4-5 respectively. For the United for Students slate is Frank Raia, Anthony Oland and Hector Irizzary in positions 2-3-6.
Comedic aside: Note the size difference in the buttons. Has the all male team been one upped by the ladies in the contest whose button is bigger? I think so. Given Frank Raia's propensity for bravado, I would think another button bigger and badder than the last one could be in order so that his team isn't shown up in the whose button is bigger bragging rights in the annals of Hoboken elections . Of course what really matters to both teams is the number of votes in the end. Don't forget the election for the three open BOE seats is Tuesday April 21st from 2-9 PM. ◦
