Reader Poll - OTB in Hoboken?

Thursday on June 4th at the Marrion Towers Senior building Former Governor Richard Codey endorsed Peter Cammarano for Mayor. In the past Codey tried to bring Off Track Betting into Hoboken as well as State-wide. You can read the transcript of a meeting on that from 1999 if you wish on Slideshare:

So here is today's reader poll asking you the reader and hopefully the voter on Tuesday, do you think bringing Off Track Betting to Hoboken is a good idea or not?



Reader Question from the editor: Does it concern you that one of the Mayoral candidates was endorsed by Richard Codey who once lobbied hard to bring Off Track Betting to New Jersey as well as Hoboken? Does that sound like a "Home Rule" endorsement to you or more the party bosses backing the candidate who will most likely best fill their needs for the NJ Transit Plan? Yes, substitute OTB for the NJ Transit Rail Yard plan and you can get where I am coming from. I do admit this is a loaded question to provoke discussion. ◦
