My Comments: I found Five Guys to be a great place to get a burger. I know some people complain that they can't specify how the burger is cooked but the fact that they are cooked well does not detract from the burger's juiciness. The french fries are freshly cut and tasty and nothing in their store is cooked frozen. This makes a difference in taste vs. the burger chains.
On a personal note I am tyring to cut back on my red meat intake somewhat and walking by this burger place makes it difficult at times.
Observations on the food:
- Hand rolled fresh meat patties (not frozen pre-shaped discs)
- Open kitchen (clean and transparent method for cooking for the public)
- All you can eat toppings ( lettuce, tomatoes, onions raw, onions cooked, mushrooms, peppers and sauces are free; bacon and cheese extra)
- Free peanuts (both salted and unsalted)
- Toasted hamburger buns are a plus
- Free refills on soda
- French fries are freshly cut and very tasty. Regular or Cajun. ◦
