Former Hoboken City Councilman Andrew Amato passed away this week of what was reported to be a heart attack. Here is a video clip of him at a 2005 candidate's forum that I think portrays the essense of this man from what I know about him quite well. His comments looking back at his life in his 2 minute summation are quite on the mark about the problems of Hoboken governance historically. Rest in peace Mr. Amato. My condolences to his friends and family.
