Former GW Bush FEMA Director Mike Brown Picks Colts over Saints

Much maligned former GW Bush appointee and FEMA Director Mike Brown has picked the New Orleans Saints to lose vs. the Indianapolis Colts for the upcoming Superbowl this Sunday. Like New Orleans needs another slap in the face from this guy. You can't make this stuff up.

In an interview for Politico, Brown was asked about his pick. He said: "I just tend to follow them more and I've just never been a real Saints fan. It's nothing more than that."

He also commented on his now-infamous "Brownie" nickname, which then-President George W. Bush gave to him: "The president wasn't exactly, let's say, a genius when it comes to nicknames."

My comment:  "Brownie" is 2 for 2 in my book depsite his inadequacy as a FEMA Director (and there is a lot of blame to go around too for Louisianna Democrats for Katrina). "Brownie":

1) Predicted the Colts to win. I have the Colts 38-35 over the Saints and in my playoff predictions and I am now 7-3 and after correctly picking the two Superbowl participants. The game will be close but I give the slight edge to the Colts due to Peyton Manning.

2) He has stated the Bush isn't a genius with nicknames. I concur but for those who know my politics and political assessments I think I would go a bit further than that to apply the non-genius aspects to all components of GW Bush's skill sets. "Dumb-ass" might have been a better nickname for this pomeranian pony patronage patsy.

Here is the interview:
