on Clinton Street between 8th and 9th Streets!
This award-winning, contemporary telling of The Ugly Duckling Story, is a fun filled adventure in discovering the joys of being different. Honk! Junior is a contemporary retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's classic story, "The Ugly Duckling" and features a Joseph... Dreamcoat-like score that kids everywhere will enjoy.
This production is being mounted by close to 100 Hoboken Public Schools district students from the ages of 6 to 18. They have been in rehearsals for over a month, learning thoroughly how to be silly as a goose. For some of these kids, this kind of acting comes very easy!
With book and lyrics by Anthony Drewe and music by George Stiles, your whole family will leave the auditorium humming and singing these wonderful songs.
