City Council Meeting Tonight! Bye Bye Beth Mason as Council President

Hoboken is having another City Council Meeting Tonight! Bye Bye Beth Mason as Council President as this is the last regularly scheduled meeting before the changing of the guard at City Council with the addition of Jen Giattino on July 1st. As a result of her win Zimmer gets her 5-4 majority back on the City Council. For all the hullabaloo from Ruben Ramos who was walking around predicting and blathering that the "old Guard" would pick up all six seats and the backslapping from their narrow HCDO coup of the Hoboken Democratic Committee, we are right back to square one when Dawn won the Mayoral election in the fall of 2009. The balance of power is admittedly tenuous and could easily swing back the other way in 2013 but the long term trend isn't good for the "Old Guard". If they are smart and they should know it.

Resolutions: http://www.hobokennj.org/docs/council/respack11/revised-respac-6-15-11.pdf

As a final legislative act trying to sabotage the Administration Beth Mason and her pet Timmy have put forth these two ordinances for second reading attempting to dismantle Zimmer's Administration. Ordinances can be vetoed and the "City Council of No" lacks a super majority.

Why not cut the salary of the City Council members to $0?
Why not.

"Bye bye Beth ..."

Not so fast, she has one more special meeting on June 29 in her! Unbelievable, she and her gang want to ram that budget through before their reign of terror and destruction ends on July 1!

LANE - LANE- GO AWAY - DON"T COME BACK ANY DAY !
Lane has issues get him some tissues.
(Was) "I more likely to vote for Romano or Gardiner" for Freeholder, I was asked by the phone pollster today, who sounded like a Southerner and clearly was just reading words off a sheet of paper. Tons of questions about council members, who I liked for Mayor in 2013, etc, etc. More details if you all want them. Highlight of my day, looks like our own Kurt has hit the big time.... Looks like the Giant has them scrambling! Bring it, R-G!!!
