Secaucus Pool - Interlocal Rates for Hoboken

Remember that community pool that was promised by soon to be departed Mayor Roberts? We might not have that pool but there is a discount deal pending with our neighbor Secaucus to get a discount for the use of their pool. Here is a message from 5th Ward Peter Cunningham:

Effective immediately, Hoboken residence have the privilege to use the outdoor Secaucus Pool at a reduced "interlocal" rate. For a family of three, two adults and one child, the cost is approximately $576. The savings is approximately $120 off last years non resident rate.

Plan A (under 21) $270
Plan B (over 21) $330
Plan C (couple) $492

Household (family of 3) $492 plus $84 per child = $576

Age 62 and over $192
Age 62 and over (couple) $290

Hoboken's City Council will pass the resolution on Wednesday June 17 to make it official, however, the Town of Secaucus has agreed to accept Hoboken resident applications for membership now.

A reduced rate structure will be in place for individuals, couples and families, and it will be officially published after next Wednesday. The Swim Center, as it is called, is located on Koelle Boulevard and the Recreation Department's phone number is 201-330-2078 for further information. It is a great facility close to home, so enjoy like many Hoboken families have over the years.

Happy swimming, and many thanks to the Town of Secaucus!
