I attended the Dawn Zimmer Fundraiser last night and it was a well attended event. Besides Dawn Zimmer and her family many of Hoboken's politicos showed up to give her their support. Councilman Peter Cunningham and former Councilwoman Carol Marsh were there and gave supporting speeches for Dawn's run for Hoboken Mayor. Michael Lenz, Tony Soares, Bill Tobias, and City Council Candidate Ravi Bhalla were also in attendance just to name a few.
On a comedic side note I tried to order a "Zimmertini" with a straight face but the bartender playfully laughed at me so I had a "Dawnarita" instead and it was quite tasty with a strong lime flavor.
