New HUMC Opening from Hoboken's City Website

There is an opening for Commissioner of the Hoboken Municipal Hospital Authority on the Hoboken City Website. Here is the introduction:

Pursuant to the “Citizens Service Act,” #DR-374, adopted by the Council of the City of Hoboken on September 3, 2008, the City is providing this notice to publicly announce that an opening exists in the position of COMMISSIONER OF THE HOBOKEN MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL AUTHORITY.

Details

The Hoboken Municipal Hospital Authority is primarily responsible for oversight of the Hoboken University Medical Center, a full-service hospital located at 308 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. An eleven-member Board of Commissioners oversees the Authority. Six of these members, known as Class III members, are appointed by the Mayor of Hoboken for five-year terms with the advice and consent of the City Council. There is an opening for a Class III member for a term that will expire on June 30, 2013. Except for expenses, the position is uncompensated. The Board normally meets on a monthly basis and the current meeting schedule is posted outside the City Clerk’s office.
