Press Release from Dawn Zimmer - Update on the Hudson River tragedy:The National Transportation Safety Board will be handling the situation and will provide press briefings. The press briefings will be held in the atrium at the Babbio Center, which is part of Stevens Institute of Technology. The Babbio Center is located at 6th street and River Terrace (600 River Terrace). Media trucks should park along Frank Sinatra Drive.
The NTSB has tentatively scheduled a press briefing for Noon today. Note: This has been pushed out till later this afternoon. The NTSB media contact can be reached at 202-557-1350.
The city may be giving additional briefings if appropriate. The mayor's office will send word to the press when a press briefing will occur.
