Hoboken 411 is been busy with the sour grapes spin machine in one of Perry's latest articles http://hoboken411.com/archives/30935.
This is my favorite quote from the Hoboken 411 article:
"Everyone Else: 7776 vs. Dawn Zimmer: 5621"
My response:
Duh, Dawn got 42% percent of the vote, not more than 50%.
Here is a sample of that analysis from the Hoboken 411 article:
"Dawn Zimmer: 5621 (41.9%) – down from 5976 in June
Beth Mason: 3038 (22.7%) – up from 2541 in May
Frank Raia: 2665 (19.9%) – up from 2373 in April (BoE)
Kimberly Glatt: 1380 (10.3%)
Nathan Brinkman: 567 (4.2%)
Patricia Waiters: 87 (0.4%)
Everton Wilson: 39 (0.3%)
The win is less impressive when you compare it this way:
Everyone Else: 7776 vs. Dawn Zimmer: 5621"
One Reader of the Hoboken Journal has this response which I find quite amusing:
"I was responding to H411 and realized that I'd get banned if I posted it; would you mind putting it up on your site? Anyone who read the silly H411 article will get it...
Baseball Post Season Notes:
Yankees Win World Series - but...
This win is much less impressive when you compare it this way:
Everyone Else's Wins: 18
Yankee Post Season Wins: 11
The Yankees won every post season series (I don't need a spreadsheet to tell you that), until you tally the numbers and see how "Everyone Else" overwhelms their win totals.
Division Series - Yankees 3 wins, Everyone Else 9.
Championship Series - Yankees 4 wins, Everyone Else 7.
World Series - Yankees 4 wins, Everyone Else 2 wins."
Too funny. The reader is probably right in that cyber-nimrod Klaussen would probably ban him. For each and every ban the diversity of dialogue and hence traffic most go down on his site. Great business model. :)
