Here is the latest large condo tower to come on line next door to Newport in Hoboken. It is a nice looking building from the outside. Suggestion: This building and any others in Newport should be filled to capacity before NJ Transit even considers putting one condo unit in their plan for the Hoboken Railyards redevelopment. Hoboken has enough vacant condos now as it is. Of course it most likely won't go down that way but time will tell.
Rentals, condo developers love them in transient markets and machine politicians love to load up on them to keep in power with the apathetic voting base that goes hand in hand with that type of resident typically. Oh and I forgot to mention the abatements in exchange for campaign contributions. Moolah!
