Here is his note on his campaign website:
Hoboken Fourth Ward Council Member Candidate Tim Occhipinti
Announces the Opening of Campaign Headquarters
Dear friends,
Please join us as we kick off our campaign for the 4th Ward City Council seat by opening our campaign headquarters this Saturday, September 25th at 11am at 56 Monroe Street. Meet our campaign team and your neighbors and friends who believe it’s time for an independent spirit in the 4th Ward.
I hope you can stop by and say hello, have a cup of coffee and munchkin and find out how you can join our effort. I appreciate all the support you have shown so far and look forward to seeing you this Saturday!
Sincerely,
Tim Occhipinti
4th Ward Council Candidate
Important Note: Tim's Campaign Website has Timmy's stance on the issues as seen below..
Having an HQ is nice, and support from the old guard with the usual cadre of suspects like Maurice Fitzgibbons, Perry Belfiore, Frank Raia, and such but now is time to find out what Timothy stands for, or maybe not. An "independent spirit" with no platform is mearly an empty platitude. Time will tell if he steps up to the plate and talks the issues.
Original Post 9/19/2010: 4th Ward candidate Timothy Occhipiniti has his headquarters set and will be having the grand opening next weekend on Saturday. There was some activity there yesterday with jut one campaign worker there when I stopped by in the early afternoon. Some trash was put out last night as well. Mike Lenz according to my sources has not yet located a Headquarters for his campaign.
Former Hoboken Fish and Pets Store now Timmy's campaign HQ for the 4th Ward Timmy O.'s HQ on Saturday night- Generating trash already! |
