Two meetings today on 9/11 Memorial and Bicyle and Pedestrian Plan

REMINDERS:
1) PUBLIC HEARING FOR 9/11 MEMORIAL AND
2) BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN PLAN MEETING TONIGHT


Public Hearing for 9/11 Memorial: 7:00 pm

The City of Hoboken will hold a public hearing to discuss planned improvements to Pier A on the Hoboken waterfront at the end of First Street and Sinatra Drive. Members of the public are invited to attend the hearing to discuss the installation of a 9/11 Memorial on the north side of the pier. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 7:00 PM in the basement conference room at City Hall, 94 Washington Street opposite the violations department.

Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Public Information Center: 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm

A Public Information Center (open house-style) for the City’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan will be held on Tuesday, November 30th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand Street. The public is invited to this final public meeting to provide feedback on the strategies developed as part of Hoboken’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan to enhance bicyclist and pedestrian travel within Hoboken.
