The Jersey Journal is reporting that during the Roberts Administration there were problems with the contract evaluation process. Hoboken 411 had reported earlier it was all on Mayor Zimmer despite the time frames listed in the letter from the State of New Jersey Comptroller's Office.
The Jersey Journal writes:
"The State Comptroller's Office says Hoboken did not use a formal evaluation process in determining which vendor would be awarded" contracts for positions of legal counsel, auditor, risk manager and planner in 2008 and 2009 when David Roberts, pictured, was mayor."You mean the Jersey Journal wrote something inconsistent with what Hoboken 411 wrote? How could that happen? Someone isn't getting the story right. Any guesses as to who is wrong and who is right? Gee Willickers Batman! It looks like the folks over at Hoboken 411 (Perry and the little angry one) got it wrong again. So much for Perry Klaussen's claim that he is a credentialed journalist.
In all fairness to Dave Roberts the State Fiscal Monitor Judy Tripodi did take over towards the end of his term as she had control at the beginning of Dawn Zimmer's term before she left last year.
