Final preparation and construction work on the playground area of Pier C is scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 7 and is anticipated to last one week. The installation of the ground surface of the play area requires several days of dry weather. During the construction, the park will be closed to the public for safety reasons. Pier C, including the center playground area, will be fully open to the public at the completion of the work. ◦
