Clarification from the Past- Mayor Russo was Aquitted on Assault Charges

There has been some chatter on some of the blogs out there about an incident that happened over 10 years ago regarding former Mayor Anthony Russo and Francis Przygoda, husband of Augusta Przygoda who was present at the Kid's first rally this Tuesday in support of the BOE ticket.

The NY Times article clearly states that Mayor Anthony Russo was aquitted by a judge in a court of law of the charges of criminal mischief placed against him. Read the article for yourself. The story is from 9/13/1996:

No Assault - Mayor Wins - NYT 9/13/2008

http://www.nytimes.com/1996/09/13/nyregion/no-assault-mayor-wins.html?scp=3&sq=russo+assault&st=nyt

I thought I would conclude this article at this point but I found one other incident regarding former Mayor Russo from 1998 involving State Senator Bernard Kenny. I believe this case also went no where but if anyone was around at this time please comment below:

Legislator Says Mayor Tried to Run Him Down - NYT 10/18/1998

One thing I don't like is misinformation so I thought I would clear that up. Don't some of these bloggers believe in innocent until proven guilty or due process of law? ◦
