BOE Candidates Forum April 4th @6:45PM at Stevens Kiddie Hall
This event is tomorrow at 6:45pm at the Stevens Campus and it is your one chance to hear the candidates speak up on the issues all together. Here is the description from the Hoboken family Alliance:
Your vote matters so come hear directly from the 7 candidates running to fill three open seats on the Hoboken Board of Education when the candidates participate in an public question/answer forum on Monday, April 4.
The forum is jointly sponsored by the Hoboken Quality of Life Coalition and Hoboken Family Alliance and will be moderated by Bob Bowdon. The organizations have invited Board of Education trustee incumbents Carmelo Garcia, Frances Rhodes-Kearns and Jean-Marie Mitchell along with Peter Biancamano, Steven Feinstein, Clifford Godfrey, and Patricia Waiters to participate.
The forum begins 6:45 p.m. at Kidde Hall on the Stevens Institute of Technology campus. The Hoboken Quality of Life Coalition and Hoboken Family Alliance joined together this year for the first time in order to help streamline appearances for the candidates and make it easier for people to attend prior to the elections on Thursday, April 27. Polls will be open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Come hear the candidates then make sure you vote. ◦
