Das ist Kaput! - Signature Kitchen out of Signature Moves?

It would appear that Signature Kitchen, a relatively new eatery between 5th and 6th on Washington Street appears to be closed for business. Being located next to Stacks Pancakes Cafe apparently was not a good thing or perhaps cash flow for the upstart business was an issue. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it a bit discouraging with so many promising businesses opening up in Hoboken only to close a year or two later. You can blame it on the economy or perhaps the length of time to get all the permits in order before the business can start. Either way, it begs the question, is Hoboken good for business? I will miss their Greek salad with chicken.

Signature Kitchen Cafe- not open for business and no sign as to status.

Closed for business or just on vacation?

I certainly hope not, we love this place much more then stacks. They just painted that orange wall two weeks ago, seems weird they'd paint the joint then close up shop two weeks later. If they are gone, i could venture a guess it's they were done in by their extensive menu, you could get everything from Salads to Burgers to Penne to sushi.

Signature Kitchen will become a new Taco place in the upcoming weeks. Just what Hoboken needs is a Taco place next to a Mexican restaurant with a Chinese Mex place next to that, what a smart idea? Signature Kitchen is done. While the food was good, the business end of it was not and it felt apart.
Taco joint? While, hey I love me some tacos, Taco Truck is freakin' amazing and just 5 blocks away. That's sad. i will have to learn how to make their Turkey Cheesesteak Wraps myself. Time to break out the Sriracha sauce.
