"william howard home is a collection of modern day wares, timeless vintage pieces and curiosities. Located across the river from Manhattan, on the corner of Park Avenue and 2nd Street in Hoboken, NJ"
"william howard home is the brainchild of Caren Rankin, product of the fashion world who always loved interior design. Established in 2008, william howard home was named after the owners two grandfathers both from Brooklyn, NY. William Rankin was a weights and measure inspector for the City of New York under Mayor Jimmy Walker. Howard Coughlin was a house painter and when not working for other people, his wife Florence Coughlin, would have him wallpapering and painting the rooms in their house every 2 years. He was a great Faux painter, he would use a comb to create the look of wood grain, and this was in the 1940's!"

The Store's Exterior on 138 Park Avenue
The store has a good selection of decorative mirrors
A nice display of candles, picture frames, candle sticks, glassware and some apothecary.
The "powder room" with a ample secltion of apothecary. The small items in these stores are good sellers in tough times due to the relatively lower price tag than furniture items.
Remember to shop local when you can. Hoboken needs a diversified retail profile to add to its charm with stores such as this. ◦
